Installed a Multi Zone system myself in one day. These systems are awesome. Super powerful, super quiet. When the system arrived, the warehouse had forgotten to include one of the line set covers, but I sent a text and Eric directly shipped another one to me within just a few days. I am now the proud owner of a fully self-installed 4-zone Mr. Cool split system. I took a chance and ordered it online from Eric at Forefront Heating and Air. I could not be happier or more impressed! Eric has been AMAZING - from immediately addressing a minor shipping delay to providing expert advice regarding installation. He is a master communicator and problem solver! As for the installation - anyone with moderate home renovation skills and the correct tools can do this. Study the installation manual, plan ahead, and proceed with safety in mind. If you are not comfortable with a step, such as wiring up the disconnect and the new breaker in your panel, simply hire a professional. Thank you, Eric...I wish I had done this years ago!

MrCool was not at the forefront of companies when looking for something to fill a hole in my wall. But the allure of saving some money by going the DIY route was hard for me to pass up. And the fact that I found Eric at Forefront Heating & Air was what really made me jump all in. His service has been exceptional, and it was a godsend to have such a friendly and readily available source available for such a project. Speaking of which: Is it really a DIY? Yes. Is it a project for the faint of heart? No. Just be prepared for MacGyver to drop in many times and for some cost overruns for the little things. Time will tell if the actual product performs as advertised, but right now am enjoying the fact that this mini split makes less noise than my refrigerator.
