We had a terrible experience with DOT Patio Newmarket & Corporate. We bought a table from this Newmarket store in May 2022 for our backyard which we were having landscaped. We left it in the box unopened as there were several delays to the completion of the backyard. Once the landscaping was done, we opened up the table, still in the original box, untouched, only to find several scratches & chips of paint that had come off. The table had a full year warranty on the finish of the table. We had never used it, and DOT Newmarket & Corporate refused to replace the table, offering only touch up paint and a miniscule 5% refund. Not only that, but the process to even get an answer from Corporate took months and several attempts. We will never shop at any DOT store ever again, we had much better experiences with their competitors with other outdoor furniture, who also had much better prices. Do your homework, go somewhere else. DOT Newmarket & Corporate do NOT stand behind their products, nor do they give good customer service. Would have given zero stars if possible.

Buyer Beware Overpriced Garbage. In 2021 we purchased an outdoor sectional (Woodstock Sectional Set). Though very expensive, we bought into the false narrative that although DOT furniture is really pricy, you get what you pay for and its built to last. Its not. We first put the sectional outside in June of 2021. It was under a gazebo, and covered when not in use for any extended period (the cover to protect the sectional was an additional purchase btw). In October we brought all of the cushions indoors for the winter. The zippers broke on two of the cushions, but we figured it wasnt worth the effort to try and have them replaced as the zippers would be hidden anyways. We brought everything back outside in May of 2022, and in October when we were prepping our yard for winter we unzipped all of the cushions to wash the covers and the insides on all but two of the cushions had completely broke down and the liners had completely disintegrated. We contacted DOT head office, and ccd the Newmarket store on all correspondence. Though head office initially seemed like they were going to do something about it, they turned around and claimed that there was nothing that they would do as the cushions are only warrantied for 1 year. We contacted head office again and asked for the exact dimensions of the cushions so that we could look into replacement options, or if they offered liners that were a different material that actually lasted, and they never responded. Worth noting that it was crickets the Newmarket store through all of this. They clearly had zero interest in getting involved and making sure we were at least somewhat taken care of. Its worth noting that a 1-year warranty for something like this is the company admitting that their product will likely be delivered in one piece/working condition, but they know that it will fail very quickly after that, and they will lose money if they guarantee that their product will last much beyond initial use. For a sectional valued at over $5,000 this is pathetic. Please dont make the same mistake we did. Be very aware of the warranty offered, dont assume that because it is expensive it will be well made and worth the money. If its from DOT furniture it wont be. Dont waste your money. Buy elsewhere.
