Stamford Village B & B

This house is on a main st. It has many run down and broken walls, leaking toilets and garbage all over the property. The doors dont lock properly and the living room has no television. The owner withheld $1500 from us before returning it to keep us from writing her a bad review. We had hit the cancel button by mistake on air bnb and had to rebook, so we technically paid twice and she refused to return the cancellation fee (50% of cost) of the first booking even though we stayed there and paid the 2nd cost in full anyways. She has a no noise after 9pm rule how can you use her pool and hot tub at night if you cant talk or dive in?! This woman is nuts and not worth dealing with, especially for a dirty old broken down house.

This place is not worth renting out due to the absolutely horrible experience that took place with the owner. I have never experienced such disregard by an airbnb owner in my life. This all took place AFTER vacating the property. The owner was essentially non responsive and MIA until it was necessary for her to reply due to third party involvement for monies rightfully owed to our group for initially overpaying her. We had to wait over 3 weeks and contact several people in order to get the funds back. The owner purposely ignored any communication (phone calls, emails, contact through air bnb) until after the deadline passed to write a review on the air bnb website to avoid a bad review. This is NOT how you conduct business. I would give zero stars if I could.
