When we read the reviews it mentioned it being old but an inexpensive place to lay your head. Since it was on AirBnB we figured it couldn't be that bad. When we arrived the room was well a room but we could see the effort...new modern headboards were installed the old ones left holes we could see, the mattresses were new, and the flat screen tv look newly upgraded but the scent, the linens, the bathroom were all a scene from a horror movie and we kept feeling itchy...no signs of bugs or rodents thankfully but we didnt feel comfortable sleeping on the linens and we didnt want to go find another hotel since we paid and didnt want to lose our money so we headed to Walmart about a 5min drive away and grabbed new linens, pillows, comforters, Clorox wipes and lysol returned to that room and got to cleaning and piling all the dirty spotted linens in a corner reminding the kids not to touch it, after that it was cozy. The new mattresses are very comfy(though there was a bright red stain which we prayed was red wine), the wifi is spotty not very strong, the outlets are spread about and there arent many, the water pressure in the shower was sad, the room temp was comfortable AC worked well. But overall not sure given the distance from the falls and the money we spent making it cozy were worth the cost. We truly see the effort and we know that they can make that place something really worth cost they charge per night. But there were places closer to the falls with vacancies that were much nicer and the cost was lower.
