Beaver Motor Motel

My husband and I were travelling from B.C to Ontario and we had been driving a very long time, tired and hungry we called for a room on a whim and the owner of this motel was absolutely outstanding. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy! This motel is stunning! We had a cabin and it was beautifully decorated with wooden post beds, dining set, futon etc. The cabin was very clean and very cozy, we will definitely stay here again when travelling back to BC and we highly highly recommend this motel. Thank you again for going out of your way to make our last night a serenity one, we left there and travelled 15 hours to Ontario, our home. We are so grateful for your generosity and commitment to make sure we had a super comfortable sleep and you made us feel very welcomed! Beautiful, beautiful place!

Nice clean comfortable spot. -1 star because there was no towel in the room had to dry off with a little hand towel. -1 more star because they advertise on their website that they have two EV chargers, but one of them is broken, and both of them are buried under a giant pile of plowed snow. I booked the motel specifically for the charger, and called ahead to verify, so I was a bit surprised to find it plowed in and unmaintained.

Great place- very helpful host. I was in a Tesla- We stayed here for the night, the gentleman was kind enough to let me charge my car at the destination charger as they have it! Cleared the snow for me to park my Tesla as it was a snow storm. Very comfortable rooms to add on. EV owners this is a place to stay.
