The MTO suspended my driver's license after I asked Dr. Dellandrea to do a routine physical exam for my air brakes endorsement. Well, at first, they failed the exam Dellandrea DID NOT do for the 3 month course I attended to obtain my Class D. After returning home the 850 miles from the course in Atikokan, Ontario because I somehow failed the medical exam that WAS NOT done, I get a letter from the useless & incompetent MTO stating that my Class GM license was now indefinitely suspended. No reason why, none, notta, nuthin'...that was 1987. In 2012, twenty five years, a quarter of a century later, at the MTO Tribunal with the MTO Tribunal Board (consisted of two people both knew zero about the case yet) The MTO Tribunal cost me close to thousand dollars for the Freedom Of Information, which added up to nothing at all, verbal diarrhea at best that substantiated not a single thing. The "tribunal board" could not find out why my license was suspended for 25 picoseconds, let alone 25 years, so they "gave it back" they said. That was a lie too. The MTO makes stuff up as they go along to satisfy their own messed up agenda while destroying a life and a person's career. I have no problem getting punished for something, or making the roads safe and all, but not with lies and innuendoes. To top it all off, I only just found a lawyer to look into this as nobody would help me ever, nobody cared and/or believed what I said, the absolute truth. Well, this lawyer proved they lied to cover it up, plain & simple...I have proof now. So what's going to happen? Nothing is going to happen, the statute of limitations ran out in 1989...two years after the doctor lied. What a joke, if it didn't happen to you.

Staff are immature and rude. They speak French to each other in front of you because they think you can't understand them if you speak to them in English, and discuss you openly. They tell you to get paperwork and then when you bring it in a different employee tells you it's not good enough. I'm a lifelong Canadian citizen who can't get any photo id because of their nonsense. Went in with birth certificate, sin card, letter from my landlord, my ex who was with me for four years who had bills at my address. Was told previously that it was good enough and then told it wasn't by the employee who spoke French in front of me thinking I couldn't understand it. Flat out ridiculous with the amount these people get paid that they can treat people that way.

Best MTO I have ever been to! No long line ups, no long waits and no grumpy staff. Fast, freindly, efficient service with a smile.
