I have been asking my Family Doctor for quite some time now to treat several issues. He kept telling me I need to learn to live with it as theres no that can be done. Keep prescribing meds and never do tests. Im on blood thinners and he had not checked my INR for over 6 months The first time seeing Dr. Lavoie, he has scheduled me for several tests and immediately checking my INR then changing my meds to much safer ones. Since seeing him one month ago, I feel so much better and have lost 20 pounds (one month). Thank you Dr. Lavoie

Worst doctor ever for me and I have seen many with my serious heart issues. Comes into my hospital room at 9 pm stands at the end of my bed and his diagnosis was like a presentation telling me I was in afib and explained to me about living with afib. I asked how long he thought I would be in afib, and he replied the rest of my life. Next he said he only allowed 1 question because he still had other patient to see and that he starts early in the morning. This was the second time he only allowed 1 question because he's a busy man. Next morning had my family doctor sign me out I would no longer allow this doctor to treat me. Talked to my cardiogis in sudbury she answered all my questions and had me out of afib within 2 month with no afib since.
