World Gym North Bay

Good environment, great staff and friendly people. Would be nice if the equipment was repaired faster, some equipment has been broken for a few months now.

*BE ADVISED OF CANCELATION FEE* Gym was great while I was there, but now that I'm trying to cancel my membership they say there is a 60 day cancelation notice so I need to pay for the next 60 days including maintenance fee. Not to mention that I was locked in for a year and was never told that was the case when I signed up seeing as I was only going to be living in North Bay for 4 months. Inexpensive to sign up but expensive to cancel..

Would not recommend this gym. There is only good reviews as members who are close to the manager have been asked privately to post positive reviews after some fallout between the manager and previous members - the situation that occurred would have looked very bad on the gym. In addition, the gym is quite dirty and there is always issues with the roofing and flooding. There is also mould everywhere. The red room that members pay $15 WEEKLY (the price is specifically to have access to that section) for are locked out twice a day almost every day for private lifting lessons. How is that fair for paying members on tight schedules that pay a lot of $$ to get access to that room I could go on about the issues with this gym but theres too many to type - just be aware the employees are only kind to SOME people and very judgmental to others. I have not had any personal issues but Ive seen it.
