I would this organization 0/100. Considering my father has been a long standing tenant at Chalkfarm over 20 years, I'm in disbelief about the level of disregard, lack of professionalism, customer service, lack of urgency, partiality and unclear communication from the management office. There are multiple things that I have tried to get assistance with and was told nothing could be done and didn't provide any resolutions. My father is ill and they are aware of this yet every time I attempt to resolve my concerns I am met with attitude, disrespect, opposition as if I don't have the right to advocate on his behalf. There is no accountability. There are no wheelchair accessible parking spots at 160 Chalkfarm which is not legal, the tenants are parking in the "VISITOR" parking spots permanently therefore actual visitors can not park. He has health care providers that come daily to assist my father with his daily needs/activities and they are unable to find a parking spot. They have expressed they are scheduled for a set amount of time to work. Finding parking takes up the time and therefore my father's services are cut shorter at times, as sometimes it takes up to 1-2 hrs. There are mice in the unit and roaches with all these cosmetic upgrades and rent increases one would think the pest issue would be taken care of. Lastly, the washroom is filled with mold which is unsafe and unhealthy for all, especially those that are ill. Elevators are unsafe, garbage room always has garbage overflowing. In 2022, there is no reason why people should live in such conditions. We put in a work order and the job was not completed as per our request. I called the head office multiple times (3-4) and left 2 voicemails with no call back. It appears to be known that when residents call head office their issue will not be resolved and falls on deaf ears because no one answers. The tenants are clearly not important nor are their concerns. This is my last attempt to get some assistance with the list of concerns. I understand there are many moving pieces to consider when running an organization however, there is much room for growth and improvement. I will await to hear from someone who can assist us with our concerns as something needs to be done otherwise I will have to escalate this matter further to the governing board or municipal office.

Chalkfarm Management is threatening to evict/ charge tenants in 2022 due to cleaning of balconies, yet the whole reason some people have items on their balcony is due to the insurmountable amount of bed bugs in the building! The bed bug sprays the building does do not even work. Youd have to get your place sprayed NUMEROUS times to see even a smidge of progress towards the pest problem. This is ridiculous and these living conditions should be illegal!!
