Pivot Apartments

Pivot apartments is a unique concept that I have heard of. An excellent project that has rental units only, with no hassle of a landlord. Being new to the city and country, I roamed around Toronto city and GTA to find a place that is affordable, has good sunlight, ventilation, close proximity to public transport, shopping areas and my office. Their website has all the details and options with floor plans to chose units of your choice & interest. Based on that, I visited the building and Cizelle who was the leasing manager of the building gave me a detailed tour of the building and all the amenities that is provided. She was crystal clear on the guidelines, queries and told me to decide at the earliest as the rent were fluctuating based on Toronto's housing market. After I confirmed with my choice, Cizelle made the paperwork process so smooth and helped me with my move-in at the earliest date possible and made it easier for me even if it was a public holiday. She made sure of regular communication regarding building rules and regulations, contract details, necessary documentation before move-in. I made the right decision at the right time to move-in to Pivot apartments. Highly recommended for people looking for rental units and those who don't want landlords interfering.

Nice stuff and very friendly. If you can afford the high cost, this is the best choice in this area. They fix the problem very fast and the move in move out process is easy and smooth. The best experience living in Canada.

Pictures tell you the truth. This is what will happen when you choose to live here. Dirty hallways, spraying fire sprinkler pipes in your room, careless plumbers and contractors hired by the rental company, flooded floors and etc. These make your home an unliveable construction site for more than three months, and the rental company refused to compensate us tenants for the mishaps caused by their poor decisions. Still, we appreciate the help and support from Amy and the maintenance team during this hard time. I believe they did the best they can do to maintain the running of the apartments, and this means a lot in this difficult time.

Loved this place in the begining but like the rest of the newish buildings in Toronto they are not being built properly, built way too fast and are being cheap with corners cut everywhere. Seems like a nightmare, dishwasher falling apart, heat non existent every two months, pipes sound like their going to burst again, HVAC problems every month, kids screaming and the parents are ignorant not to take in consideration they are in a apartment building! Beware to that rent doesnt go up with the regulated 3 percent, it will go up as much as youre willing to pay meaning it will go up however much they raise it! They tried to raise rent $200 last year and this building isnt even worth what theyre renting it out now. Theres really no difference between a regular apartment building and pivot other than maybe in suite laundry which you pay for/dishwasher. Maintenance are pretty good and front desk is nice but lack of knowledge of some things since the turn over is rlly high.
