Terrible landlords, they dont fix anything and my car got stolen in December 2022 in their oshawa property, and car windows smashed out in April of 2023. I dont not recommend this company

I'm a 503 Balmoral Drive resident. They increased our rent by 11% for 2023 from 2022 and written it down as 2.5%. This is above the 2.5% maximum increase under Ontario's guidelines and is an offence. I've sent numerous emails, called, and even left voicemails, but to no avail. No response at all. Poor service. If I had kept the previous years' increases, I would check just to be sure that they're following the guidelines. They are clearly breaking it for 2023.

Golden Equity is a joke, don't be fooled by their fancy website it doesn't even work! Been trying to book a viewing for the past couple of weeks and get an error code every single time. Try and reach out them they'll direct one of their "experts" to contact you with 48 hours. It's been 72 and counting and not a word, STAY FAR AWAY! -1 Stars

Renting an apartment at 51 McMurchy Avenue North is one of the ways to regret your existence. Elevator has been down since October 2022 and still not fixed till dateof writing this. Tenants have to use the stairs to carry their shopping articles and everything heavy. Imagine going down the stairs with a baby on a stroller? Nobody updates the tenants on ANYTHING that serves them. You only hear from management via posters on the wall. The entrance door hardly closes properly making it possible for anyone to get in, a huge security risk. The telephone unlock at the entrance doesn't work. Offline since early last year. And when you move in you'd realise that the electrical units are outdated to the core. The sewage pipes are one dump ways from being clogged. You can go days without light or electricity in the apt. That way, you can't use your devices or even COOK. Calling the management is one of the most depressing things. They don't care. They send maintenance after you're dead. Even in your desperate state, don't rent this place. I went through this so you don't have to. 51 McMurchy Avenue North is not where to LIVE.
