As a residential remodeler in Toronto I rely heavily on our design partners to know the ins and outs of the building code and city zoning by-laws. Cadaxx has expertly guided us through the zoning phase on multiple projects and went above and beyond to resolve unreasonable delays by the city's plans examiners. They also provide great design services including 3D renderings - a must nowadays. I would not hesitate to recommend Cadaxx to any homeowner or builder seeking out a design partner.

We had a very positive experience dealing with Alex and the Cadaxx team. He prepared the architectural drawings and also facilitated securing the appropriate building permit. Throughout the process, Alex provided timely updates on the project status and next steps. When we received follow-up questions from the City re the building permit application, Alex and team addressed the open issues and resolved them promptly. We would definitely work with Alex and the Cadaxx team in the future.

Working with Alex and the Cadaxx team was a great experience. Their use of technology to scan our house to record as-built conditions for the permit set was very efficient and accurate. As an added value item, they provided a rendered 3D model walkthrough of our proposed renovations which helped visualize the space and a capture the design intent. Overall, the permit process was pretty smooth as minimal comments came back from the Building Permit Planning Office as the permit set Cadaxx submitted was complete and OBC compliant.

If you are looking for an architect you need to hire Cadaxx immediately. I don't say this lightly, as my husband and I are not new to dealing with renovations. From the initial site visit, Alex has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We actually only intended to one addition to our house, because as per our previous renovation, we were told nothing more could be done. Alex actually told us this may not be true and he would look into it. Here we are, months later, drawings done and now submitted to the city for permits. We are looking to get three different extensions done, and hoping that this will clear with the city. I am confident in having Cadaxx represent us if things go to the CoA. Alex, you have been such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for your help in figuring out our Forever Home. Mina, thank you so so much for the video chat meetings and screen sharing to come up with a design that my husband and I both love. Sarah, thank you for keeping up on things like the survey. One final note: My husband and I were truly unsure how the exterior design would look and we were honestly kind of nervous that there would be no curb appeal. We received a rendering of what our house will look like, and we're beyond happy with this! I've attached photos: You can clearly see the additions we're adding, and how the roof now seamlessly blends with the house. We also plan to paint the red brick black, that'll match better :) .. Overall, awesome! Thank you again to the team at Cadaxx!
