I called Brief and was pleasantly surprised to find out I was speaking directly to one of the owners. We had a nice conversation and we left off with me taking some time to review my situation and options. I called back about a week later to proceed with my filing and I cant believe that in the end I was actually feeling no regrets about filing my bankruptcy. After struggling for so long it was nice to just have a solution in place

I always had this impression of a bankruptcy trustee being some scary character that was going to make me feel worse than I was already feeling. I couldnt have been more wrong. I spoke with Angie who walked me through my options after I provided her with my situation. She was caring and compassionate and never did I feel any pressure. Angie even encouraged me to take a few days to think things over before making a final decision. The final steps were smooth and I was even able to remotely sign the documents from my apartment. I called Brief and spoke with Savi. The honesty from her shocked me as she told me that Brief could not help me due to the amount of equity in my home. She then gave me some advice and options to consider and also warned me of things to avoid. I was shocked that even though I was not going to be a perspective client that she took the time to try and help me.
