I had alot of trouble with my bite from the oral appliance, and very little follow up. I had plenty of fittings for the device, offered as part of their 3,000.00 package, but once I started to have trouble with my bite and turned down his offer to explore another 1500.00,after only wearing the device for about a year, appointments were suddenly scarce, moved over, or hard to find. The ineffective and very insensitive communications with the receptionist Rona by phone certainly did not help. I had the feeling almost none of my messages or concerns were ever passed on to Dr Priemer. The oral device does work, but again, oral appliances require a long term plan for follow up between the doctor and patient, and a trained sleep dentist receptionist should be advocating for proactive and positive solutions for the patient-ie at minimum reassuring there is a follow plan in place. In this case you face the risk of another added stress of never being quite sure when, if, or how follow up will be recieved for oral appliances.

I'm sure the doctor is just fine, only I never got that far in the process. The receptionist would not give me even a relative quote on the phone as to how much the oral appliance for sleep apnea would cost. Hence I cannot compare it to other clinics, that do in fact give out that information ahead of time, so I can be an informed consumer and gauge my options when choosing which dentist to go to. My insurance does not cover any of this, so it will all be out of pocket. The consultation runs a nice 148$, and only then will they deign it acceptable to tell me how much the actual device would cost, which should be in the thousands and varies quite a bit from one dentist to another.

Dr. Les charged 135$ for a dental consultation, I voiced my concerns with the receptionist (Rona) and she rudely stated "you get what you pay for if you go elsewhere!" Not recommended.

I've had such a great experience with Dr. Priemer. He has helped me with my sleep issues and introduced me to solutions I didn't even know existed. He is so nice and always answers all of my questions. All of the staff at his office are super friendly and helpful as well.
