BEWARE - totally hellish experience... a filling (done here a year ago) fell out last night and went in today for a redo - believe it or not, an "all-knowing" Dr. Andy REFUSED to do the simple filling and INSISTED on a root canal which if is not a red flag, I wouldn't know what it is. He insisted my tooth nerve is dead and the pain I felt overnight for an hour or so was probably gum-related even though I can feel the pain was at and in the tooth itself. The dentist told me (in his own words) that he knew for a "fact" simply based on a still x-ray that a simple filling would not work because the infection had spread. And the actual fact that I was perfectly fine after the filling a year ago (during which a root canal had also been recommended then) with NO pain whatsoever until the filling fell off last night didn't matter because he just knew better! I tried escalating the issue to NO avail - the dentist started to sound like a broken record and I stormed out of the dental office. This may be an alright place if you are just cleaning your teeth and having a tooth extracted. For a filling, caveat emptor least it turn into a root canal. ... Pursuant to your response, you are framing what I feel (NO pain for a whole year after the original fillling as my personal opinion instead of the actual experience that it is and which "Dr. Root-Canal" chose to completely ignore and regard his so-called "professional" experience which is looking at a still x-ray picture for 5 minutes to be irrefutable. Well, good luck to you and your clientele then.

It was my first visit, and your dental assistant has a huge attitude problem. I undergo the Panoramic X-ray, she did not do it properly, and when I ask why I have to repeat it (because I just did it), she gives me a rude and blunt response of "if you don't want to do it, just tell me", rather than offer an explanation or anything resembling an apology for why she didn't do it properly the first time. In addition, she was very condescending throughout. Upon just asking her a question, she would repeatedly say to me "Do you understand? You want me to speak Chinese?" That was extremely unprofessional and very bad customer service, when there was no indication of any communication issue from my part. Otherwise, the dentist working today is helpful and professional, but your dental aide's behavior is not acceptable and will prevent me from returning to this clinic. Update: Got a reply back from the clinic. They did not acknowledge any issues I talked about with their dental hygienist. I am changing the rating to one star.

Ive been coming to Dr. Lu for over 2 years now and all the staff have always been so kind, accommodating, respectful, and friendly. Every visit Ive had has been professional and the services are always provided in a timely manner. I just wanted to highlight the dental hygienist that has taken care of me the last couple times, Ada. She is amazing at her job, not only can I tell that she knows exactly what shes doing but she goes above and beyond in providing care. She is such a joy to have and is not only trying to care for patients on the physical level but she takes the time to create therapeutic relationships and get to know her patients. Her attitude is always super friendly and outgoing. Kudos to the all the staff and Dr. Lu and Dr. Sheyda, every visit is always a pleasure, my teeth are very well taken care of here!
