Passport Office

I came here today may 24, 2023 at 3:30pm at the counter. I came to ask questions regarding name change. I recently change my name and wanted to ask questions regarding how to change my name on passport. As soon as I was called at the counter, it was an African guy who was very rude when we came at the counter. He right away said give me paper with an attitude, he did not even give us a chance to ask questions and the way he treated me it was unbelievable. There is no professional at all I have never experienced this anywhere before. I hope he doesnt treat like this to anyone in the future.

Got there at 7:15am and was about ~7th in line. In and out by 8:45am. Super friendly staff!

Update: I received my passport on May 16, earlier than the estimated May 24. So slay TLDR: Employees are friendly, service was quick and organized. Arrived at 7:50am and finished at 9am. Expect to move around a few times before actually reaching the office. Long story: I went on Tuesday, May 9. Arrived at 7:50am on the 2nd floor and there was a line with approx 20 people ahead. At around 8am, we were led upstairs to the auditorium to wait until opening and received a ticket. Starting 8:30am, we went into another room where we stated our purpose for visit, had our documents checked briefly, and received another ticket. After this, I was directed to the actual office, waited until my ticket was called, and then got my application processed - all done by 9am. I was advised my passport would arrive in the mail on May 24 or earlier.
