Good luck getting them to call you back when you have flood damage. Ive received advanced payments made out to the wrong party and cant get anyone to fix or tell me whats going on with my claim. Buyer beware.

Assurant Insurance Or AmericanBankersInsuranceCompanyofFlorida11222QuailRoostDriveMiami,FL331576596 Is one of the biggest scams I've seen in a long time. My house Insurance was ending so I looked around for new insurance and came across Assurant and got a quote and decided to take with quarterly payments. So I paid the first payment (one quarter) then after 45 days I received a bill for the next payment due by the end of the month. Just 60 days in and the other payments where do every 2 months leaving 6 months with no payments. I called and told them I signed up for quarterly payments and that I was on a budget due to covid they came back and told me there was nothing they could do. I told them that they where making interest off my money when I should be the one making interest, they said again there was nothing they could do. So I canceled the policy and was told I would receive a refund of any premium that was unused which should have been 67.00 I received a refund of 21.00 dollars. So I called to find out where the rest of my money was and after a 10 minute pause I was told that there was over 400 dollars left on the policy and they charge 10 percent of that for processing the cancelation..What??? ARE THEY CRAZY?? OR JUST SCREWING THERE CUSTOMERS BY TAKING THERE MONEY. I started the policy with the first payment which was 132.500 The Year payment with quarterly was 529.00 So according to my calculations is 396.50 Not even 400. They kept 46.00 of my money. I was never at any point told they would charge me for canceling. EVER!! THERE PRACTICES ARE VERY DISCEPTIVE AND MISS LEADING. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.. SHAME ON THEM, SHAME..
