Do not be fooled by the size of this restaurant, you get the entire taste of Jamaica in every bite. Located on the outskirts of downtown Toronto, this hole-in-the-wall serves delectable Jamaican cuisine. The meats are well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. If you are a hearty eater, the portion sizes will satisfy your appetite. Try the Scottshill Special if you have the stomach for it; it will leave you popping at the seams. I highly recommend Scottshill to anyone seeking a taste of Jamaica while in Toronto.

I was born and grew up in Trinidad and Tobago. One of the things I absolutely love about the Caribbean is its FOOD! The warmth and diversity of the people transcended to the rich flavours and food became a cultural experience- a boilng pot of African, Indian, Portuguese, Spanish, Indigenous, English and French influence. Aside from Mr. Jerks's on Wellesley East Downtown or Leena's in Scarborough, it's hard to find really good Caribbean food in Canada. I live close to this restaurant and honestly never noticed it when passing by. I was searching the internet for Caribbean food and this came up. We tried it and were so happy to find a taste of home. It's a well established, family owned and managed restaurant. There is ample accommodation for comfortable family dining- clean and well kept. The customer service is great, and the wait time short. The food is delicious and the variety on the menu is awesome. They play Caribbean music to make the experience complete and I saw a full offering of Caribbean rum and other alcoholic beverages. I highly recommend here
