Toronto Retina Institute (TRI)

The doctors here deal with emergencies daily. Some of the people they see are losing their eyesight right now. It takes time for the doctor to repair it, which causes patient wait times to become quite long, 1 to 2 hours. I have been on both ends, a patient who waited and one who needed the emergency work. I thank them every time for the thankless work they do. So far, my eyesight has been saved twice.

The doctors are good but their management system is the worst, be ready to spend more than 3 hours for single checkup.

Dr Aboobaker was kind, responsive and answers all my questions. Although I can't say I'm looking forward to seeing him again, because I'd rather there be nothing wrong, I am confident I am in good hands. Ty

I wish I could give 0 ZERO stars if I could. The doctor is fine but the staff at TRI are awful, slow and rude. I clearly am not the only person with these sentiments. You really should consider training better staff to improve reviews as it is clear many people attend this clinic. I have been going here for years and consistently the staff have been slow with getting paperwork signed, not calling if I had a surgery date or any appointments and not to mention no one ever answers the phone or emails or replies to voicemails. Well, at least their consistent with being awful.
