Yorktown Montessori School

This school is so amazing I do not have the words to express how amazing it is. I have 4 kids, the oldest two, who are now in grade school, attended and came home everyday sharing new things they learned. My third child (now 4), started at 2.5 yrs old, is currently attending, and is excited to go each and everyday! When my youngest reaches 2.5 years old, I will also be sending her there as well no question!

I could not be more thrilled with her development. She has become independent and has developed good learning and social habits in this program. Each morning she is excited to go to school to see her teachers and friends. Many of the daily skills she works on at school, are ones that she enjoys doing at home. This includes folding cloths and helping prepare table setting. I recommend Yorktown Montessori School to any family looking for a place that promotes safe and nurturing environment with enriched intellectual, emotional, physical and social development all in a warm and welcoming community.

I had a school tour to get an information for my 24 month-old son. The school was cozy and had a warm environment. The teachers seemed nice and children looked happy. The lady who explained the program has same idea about early year education with me. I got some tips about toilet training and how to deal with his misbehaviour. With this good first impression, I am considering to register my son in that daycare when he reaches 30 month.

My son went to Yorktown Montessori School when he turns 3. He loves this school so much. He loves to go to Yorktown Montessori School everyday. Yes, he asked me to bring him to school even on Saturday and Sunday. The teachers and Principal are really genuinely nice educators. They are very friendly and always welcome kids with warm and big smile. You can tell these enthusiastic teachers come to school with a big heart ( is not just a job ) and really care about your kids. I believe teacher enthusiasm sparks the curiosity of students and jumpstarts their motivation to learn. Without a doubt, my kid loves his teachers so much. Everyday came home with something new he learned in school . I can tell he learns a lot each day and Very happy and eager to learn each day. Before he went to this school he cant really focus on reading, if I read out loud he would just running around. One day I read out loud as usual and he suddenly sitting next to me and finished reading 2 books with me. This was the first time ever. I was so amazed. Just 1 month after attending this school. He became more focus and interested in reading. About the program, I feel this school has strong curriculum, it has a lot of interesting activities like chicken hatching. It also offers French lesson every week, my son came home singing French songs. Good communication between teachers and parents also very important to me since I like to know what he did at school or how he was doing in school. Overall I am very happy with this school and Highly recommend this school to parents who are looking for a fun and perfect learning environment for their kids
