Ray Plumbing Svc

Scheduled an appointment with Ray Plumbing. A short angry-looking fellow named Sam showed up. I tried to brush aside his negative demeanour at first, hoping that he'd warm up and act friendlier as time went by. But he unfortunately maintained a bad attitude throughout the appointment. Told him about the plumbing issue I was having in my home. I then asked him what his fee was for producing a plumber's report that was required to be shown to my insurance company. Sam replied that he didn't write such reports for clients. I pressed him on it, and he finally threw out a number for what I'd need to pay for the plumber's report. After initially being told that he didn't write plumber's reports, I felt uneasy about his qualifications. So I asked him if he was the owner, and he replied: Yes. I then asked how many years he'd been in business, to which he testily replied, "Does that matter?" Fast forward through several more minutes of unpleasant conversation, and I ended up deciding that I'd had enough of his poor attitude. I told him that I didn't wish to use his services due to his poor behaviour. As soon as I said that, his demeanour abruptly changed. He literally shrivelled and apologized profusely for his insolence. But it was too late, the damage had already been done. I told him to leave, to which he tried a few more times to reassure me that he'd act friendly going forward. I stood firm on my decision, and he finally left. I will never call Ray Plumbing ever again. Folks, if anyone treats you with disrespect, don't be afraid to decline their services. Doesn't matter if it's a plumber, an electrician, a medical professional... anyone. Give your hard-earned money to people who are willing to treat you kindly! REPLY TO "OWNER": Just because a review is negative, that doesn't mean it's untrue. Instead of denying this review's authenticity, use the opportunity to coach your plumbers to become more amiable and professional.
