        I went here in the mid 1960s. Abusive staff the principal at the time (Thurston) slapped me across the face once and the vice-principal (Cooke) drop kicked me across the school yard for throwing a snowball at another child. Not sure if other children were abused like this.

        My son came from another school where the bullying was incontrollable by the staff and the principal did not care. He gave a really hard time to the teachers and even the principal, Mrs Rosenbloom. His first teacher was Mrs. Goldstein, which is an amazing teacher! I don't have words to describe how great they were Tons of patience and support. My son is thriving, making friends, enjoying go to school and becoming a better person. Thank you Owen PS!
