        Both my daughters attend Hawthorn School for Girls, and I am grateful for this special learning environment. Student centred learning, along with authentic character development, has allowed both my girls to make positive relationships and build their self esteem . This remarkable school supports each student through kindness, understanding and community. The teachers , staff and administration are generous and dedicated people who focus on learning, family and conviction.

        COVID did not stop this school: I went to their virtual gala: a 10-course meal was delivered to your door which you later enjoyed through Zoom with school staff, teachers, parents, students and friends; The virtual art gallery displaying students art work was excellent; The school mascote went to dance outside of lower school students homes; Students were given the opportunity to have in-person outdoor closing ceremonies and graduation; and I could go on about what Hawthorn has done to help students get through this tough COVID year.
