The Psychologist who visited my daughter was an inexperienced doctor who was not able to manage the situation after a short discussion with my 13 years old daughter, her judgment and assessment was not professional. The cost was very high and I believe it was totally waste of time and money.

I recommend avoiding this practice if you feel that your child may be gifted and especially if your child is particularly intellectually complex and might have twice exceptionality. In addition to my child being incorrectly assessed here, the practitioner and founder both insisted that under no clinical exception could their outcome be wrong. However, my child was found to have a gifted FSIQ later through a full psychoeducational assessment at a different practice. The timeline and all tests met clinical standards and protocol. I thoroughly researched the second practice who came highly recommended to me by the local gifted community before booking. My child is now attending a public gifted school in the GTA and is doing very well. He is inspired by the curriculum and found his peer group immediately. Had I listened to the practitioner at her claim that her outcome was absolute and not pursued further testing at a better vetter practice, he would have been denied this vital education opportunity. I am posting now on behalf of other families so that they could avoid our unfortunate experience at Reframe. It is worth noting that this practice was also very aggressive when it came to payment, offered no payment plans, made no adjustment nor did I feel heard when I reached out to the founders after our initial experience, and that significant genetic and educational history were excluded from the report, including teacher evaluations that describe my child as exceptional, and significant family omission of gifted and profound giftedness. My overall impression and experience of this practice was extremely negative.
