Buyer beware dealing with Madison. We purchased our new home. Immediately during the inspection we noted that the 10 foot granite countertop in our kitchen that we paid an upgrade for was in fact two 5 foot pieces put together. Our blueprint showed the countertop in one piece which was contrary to what they gave us. We dealt with Alyssa at first from the new build side. Alyssa indicated (falsely) to us that they could not carry the 10 ft countertop into our house. In speaking with the countertop company that was not true. Furthermore the two granite pieces are not connected in any way. A nudge to one edge of the corner will cause them to separate. We have been given the run around from this company from the start, it's been very disappointing and I highly recommend to be weary when dealing with them. It's so sad as a first time buyer that we have been taken advantage of especially when we paid for these upgrades. This is just one of the examples but the one that is most frustrating and disappointing.
