We enrolled both our children in Scuola Materna at Leonardo Da Vinci Academy to immerse them in the Italian language and culture at a very early age and it did not disappoint. During their time in the program both of our children not only gained a strong fluency in the Italian language, but developed confidence and a strong foundation in the areas of reading, mathematics, music, French and phys ed. My wife and I were very impressed with the dedication and commitment of the staff, at all levels. If the Montessori method is something that you are looking for in your child's education, then we highly recommend Leonardo Da Vinci Academy.

Our son attends LDVA. He loves the environment, teachers and classmates. As parents, we were impressed from day one with the school's Montessori methods, as well as the languages and music programmes. Teachers and administration have been great in working with our son, not only in building strong curriculum foundations, but also in helping develop respectful manners as well emotional skills. Thank you LDVA teachers and staff

Our daughter is in her final year in the Scuola Materna program and we can't say enough how impressed and happy we've been with her experience. She's been allowed to explore the different montessori activities encompassing math, science, geography, life skills and more . All the while, being immersed in the Italian language, and is now able to have a conversation and read in both English and Italian. Most importantly, all of her teachers provide a loving and caring environment, something that all parents want when it comes to their young children. We've been extremely happy having our daughter in the Scuola Materna program and would recommend it along with LDVA to anyone interested in Montessori education.

Our daughter has attended LDVA for the past three years in the Casa program. Her teachers are all fantastic! She loves taking French, Italian and Music. My husband and I love the independence the school provides her. She is able to learn at her own pace and not have limitations placed on her due to age or grade. Leonardo Da Vinci Academy helps to foster a love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom. I cannot recommend LDVA enough!

I don't recommend this school. They have a weird admission process. They expect a 2.5 - 3 years old kid to be putty trained (which is fair) but they also expect the child to follow their instruction from the first minute without any resistance and they call it an "assessment" (I call it selection for convenience). What a strange logic! To me, this is totally unacceptable as in that age, 2.5 to 3, kids are sensitive to transition and it is not an easy job to leave them at daycare/school peacefully. That is why in many places they allow kids to go through the transition period with parent/s company. Here, they just take the kid alone and expect him/her to behave like an adult. Anyway, I think they prefer to select easy kids so they spend less time and efforts. The outcome is clear: your kid will grow up in a group which is not representative of a real community with diversity. Worst of all, they charge you $200 for the assessment and it is non-refundable.
