Today is opposite day. The school is the most fun and best place to learn and the yard is very kid friendly. Also, in the past the my son ran in to the pole came home and said a child with diabetic problems hit him like a truck and made him hit the pole.

Something I find ridiculous is how they dont allow parents to send goody bags with nut free snacks on holidays etc because of allergies such as eggs and wheat, red dye etc BUT theyll sell cookies or have chips and juice box day ( for a price) and all of a sudden the rules dont apply and no one cares about the feelings of the kids with allergies or the ones that cant afford it. Why not ask parents if they will allow their children to receive these things rather than taking the fun away from everyone ? Also I received a letter that parents cant make sandwiches with wowbutter ( a nut free spread) because children having anxiety from it? Lol really? What about the anxiety of parents who have picky eaters and only eat certain things. Give us the parents a break and let these children have normal school experiences. It would be nice to send lets say nut free cup cakes to the school to celebrate their childrens birthday with his/hers classmates . Thats something every child deserves to experience. Also, whats with not allowing parents into the kindergarten area ? Why make us walk all the way around ? And sometimes have to deal with a locked gate and being told to go around. Again stop making it so difficult to pick up our children. Parents should have a right to walk where ever. If the principle is reading this ease up on the rules, please. I understand youre trying to make it a safe environment but its getting to be a little too much. We supported yall when the strikes were happening so Work with the parents rather than making it harder for us. We cant even send outdoor food to our children anymore unless its an absolute emergency because its an inconvenience. Something else I want to bring up. News letters. Why are we only receiving emails? And not actual papers ? Not all parents and guardians know how to use emails. Parents should know whats going on at all times so this is something That should change. And lastly Ive noticed other schools have plays with the little ones around Christmas/ holidays and yet this school never seems to do anything nice like thatits very disappointing witnessing this and not having that experience with you child. I hope things get better cause its been pretty bad this year.
