Water Babies is a fantastic swim school specializing in teaching babies how to swim in a safe and fun environment. I was amazed by the level of service, expertise and care displayed by their instructors, as well as the knowledge and responsiveness of their administrative staff. They are skilled in helping their students (babies) become comfortable in the water and gradually build up their swimming skills while ensuring that the parents are actively involved and fully supported throughout the process. Overall, I would highly recommend Water Babies to any parent looking for a quality swim school to help their child develop essential water safety skills while having fun at the same time.

Posting here because though we were impressed with the Water Babies teaching style, their business practices are bordering on unethical, and from a customer service perspective, they were excruciating to deal with and disrespectful of our time. After 8 lessons, hoping my daughter would warm up to the water babies style of swimming lessons, I had to remove her from the pool due to hyperventilation. At this time, we notified them we wouldn't be attending any more classes. As I know they have waiting lists for their lessons, I came to them with three suggestions: A) get a refund for the 5 remaining classes paid in full (their billing cycles are predatory, requiring you to cancel 5 weeks in advance to not end up overpaying, no matter the reason). B) receive a credit to use at a later time, even if it's a year from now C) transfer our 5 lessons to another family in the neighbourhood that we know would have taken our spot. Water Babies responded by having their Aquatics Instructor call us and lecture us on "exposure" and question our decision to remove our child from the lesson when we did (Why did it take 3 months of lessons and our cancelation for them to offer this form of "support?") I then waited 17 days to hear from Water Babies again, they finally called after i resent an email following up on my call (it took them 11 days to get back to an email!) . Their approach to "resolution" was to be unapologetic about their predatory billing cycles, pay no mind to my daughter's well being, and offer absolutely no real resolution. They kept me on the line for 15 minutes, re-explaining their billing cycle, any time I tried to move towards resolution I would be told that if I let them finish their "explanation" we could "resolve". In the end, there was nothing. Just a massive waste of my time and my family's money. The worst part of this situation is that I had no issue with their teaching style or lessons, it just didn't work for my daughter. I was happy and excited for others to use our spot, unfortunately they took a situation that could have had an easy solution, and made it painful and lousy. I would not recommend Water Babies to other families at this point, and would advise anyone signing up to make sure you understand the confusing billing cycles, and know ahead of time that there is absolutely no empathy or good will extended should you need to cancel.

Warning, if you enroll for one term (e.g., summer term) you are automatically enrolled in the next term (fall term) and charged 5 weeks in advance. They don't do refunds. Sure, it's "in their policy" so they are merciless and unapologetic about this technicality, but it's extremely unclear that the monthly charges continue outside of the term that you enroll in. Our experience has been mediocre at best, the classes are crowded and rushed, and it's not worth the money. In reply to your comment, no, I will not "rest assured" because it was not made "very clear at the time of booking" that this monthly subscription would continue beyond the term I registered for. Also, yes you do have terms, when I registered I was given the dates and prices for July, August, and September with the caption "Summer Term Details." If these terms actually don't exist, then you should not refer to them as such. This kind of subscription model is incredibly predatory to people with disabilities (and new parents in general who are adjusting to a newly increased mental load), especially when the terminology is unclear and you are given the monthly dates for a certain "term" when you register. Also, Netflix is a lot less expensive than $150 a month, so that's hardly a fair comparison.
