Sad to hear that the business is closing its doors. It was interesting to read about its long history, dating back to a more civilized, tranquil era commencing in the early 60's. Truly an Oakville institution due to its old world atmosphere and longevity of service to the community. I wish the family the very best in their future endeavours and thank them for their contribution to creating a unique shopping experience for downtown Oakville.

I have been shopping at Art Lee's for 30 years and they were the definition of high quality and customer support. Other stores could not hold a candle to what Art Sr. built and his sons took over. I want to wish Allan and Art all the best in their retirement and I'll miss the pleasant banter we had during my visits.
