If you are not a native speaker or if you are not born in Quebec, don't even bother registering your child here. They put your child through an intimidating "interview" process. When your child doesn't talk to them, they assume he or she doesn't understand and than they make false hope for you as a parent to meet the "surintendant" to see your motivation in the child learning French (even though you may be bilingual in French and English) and you have told them the child is good to attend specially in the lower grades. In our case the surintendant never showed up and our child was put through another one of their interviews with no other results (as the child did not create rapport with them). They don't respect you or your child and deny the child of a rightful education! So much for our country being "bilingual", our education system does fully allow it. AVOID AT ALL COST!
