I am in my late 50s and the type who like challenges and try things that you thought never in my life I could do that!. Well, working with Oskars personalized strength training, I have now achieved numerous fitness goals but my favorites are chip ups, full range ring pull ups, finger pushups, and things that I saw athletes do. I have trained with other trainers but no one is as dedicated and focused as he is to get me to fulfill my goals. He keeps a journal of my progress from the very start and designs programs that is just for me. I have now trained with him for 9 months and I still love the weekly sessions. He designs his training sessions so its challenging, effective and never boring. He also factors in my weaknesses when designing the drills so on top of advancing my athletic abilities I also ended up with a much stronger body all around. He is definitely the best trainer I ever have. Mine you, when friends do complement the physique and toned body shape I acquire as a by-product, that is always a plus. If you ever think about trying personal training to kick start a lifestyle change or simply to try a more interesting workout regimen, I definitely recommend him.

After injuring my back and floundering through 6 months of exercising with poor results and continually aggravating my back, I was at a total loss. I had gone to chiropractors, physiotherapists, Athletic therapists and RMTs and had little success. Coach Oskar put together a program for me based on the Ido Portal method (a lot of calisthenics) and re-wired my musculature and how my whole body worked together as a unit. Now Ive done MMA styles, played sports and weight trained the majority of my adult life but under this program Ive gained so much strength, mobility and flexibility. Ive never been stronger or felt better! It took me three months of tedious work on things I didnt think were necessary but I gave into Oskars guidance as I thought I didnt have anything to lose and the results were amazing. Oskar has forever changed the way I train and I look forward to working with him in the future. I honestly wish I started with him earlier. If youre a beginner, its perfect for you! Even if youre an existing athlete with lots of training, Oskars training can make tremendous difference!!

I have been training with Oskar for almost two years, but it feels like Ive known him longer. Oskar is very client oriented when youre training with him, he is with you 100%. You are encouraged to ask questions. He believes in the power of positive body movement, of knowing your body, and pushing your limits in a productive way. He knows when to push you and when to pull back encouraging you to listen to your body so you know the difference between too far, and when youre just feeling tired or uninspired to perform. He knows the drills he assigns back to front so hes able to customize them to account for specific muscle weakness or injury. The end goal is improvement, but there is more than one road to get there, and he is willing to try them all with you until you find something that works. Communication is effortless, whether its clarification on what youre doing and why it benefits you, or if youve had a bad day and need to hear something positive. Oskar demonstrates professionalism, extensive knowledge, and commitment to his clients. He provides the foundation for success in your health and fitness goals. He truly practices what he preaches, it is not uncommon to come into the gym and see him working on his own goals. He shares with you the struggle of being truly dedicated to constantly bettering himself, personally and professionally. I would recommend training with Oskar to anyone who is looking for a fun, friendly, knowledgeable trainer who is geared up for your success as much as you are!

Coach Oskar is a rare gem who is hard to describe and must be experienced to be appreciated! His remarkably unique methodology and expertise are immediately evident from first exposure (despite his cool, casual, unassuming demeanor). What makes "Coach O" so exceptional is his skill set and character: * an impressive ability to identify and treat problem areas with suitable progressions. (When others fail to break down a progression, Coach O succeeds- evidence of his thorough understanding of physiology, mechanics, kinesiology) * a seemingly infinite repertoire of exercises/ drills! (so it is nearly impossible to leave a session without learning something new each time- no matter how many years you have trained with him). * an extraordinary talent to convey new concepts and teach techniques precisely (thereby maximizing outcome whilst minimizing chance of injury) * a warm, welcoming approach for all-comers into a safe, non-judgemental space where students enjoy going out of their comfort zones to explore entirely unfamiliar and "foreign" techniques/ movements * a keen eye and sharp mind to accurately assess individual ability/ potential/ performance and prevent injury by spotting appropriately * a sense of humor and skill in sports psychology which allows him to motivate students to attend consistently, push themselves to their limit and exceed their expectations * his out-of-box, creative, independent thinking - coupled with his never ending self improvement- keeps things fresh! (Your mind will get a work out with this intellectual, widely-read coach!) * a strong work ethic makes him reliably punctual, present, focused and invested in his students' progress. It is no wonder that his students: - drive over 90 minutes one way to attend his sessions - find him the best part of their week - commit long term - respect and trust him - dream big and have confidence that Coach O can get them to achieve/ exceed their goals - gain a priceless friend Coach O has helped me become a stronger and better parent. I feel blessed and honored to be one of his students. He is a treasure I wish to share so everyone can maximize their personal growth.

I have a crazy-busy life. No, seriously....I DO. I'm balancing a corporate career with regular business travel and an active volunteer schedule outside of work. I was a gym rat for a long time and I thought I had a reasonable level of fitness. I was wrong. A job change meant I had to find a new place to work out - and ~18 months ago someone suggested I try 5 sessions with Oskar. I was skeptical. Never thought I would be one of those people who say "according to my trainer..." I cannot say enough good things about how my strength, flexibility and mobility have improved as a result of his thoughtful and challenging programs. I know each workout is designed with my goals in mind. The program changes every 6 weeks to keep me motivated and challenged. Plus, I enjoy his company...we laugh as much as we train. It's a good thing as we spend 3 hours per week together! It's a 360 holistic approach - I can say without hesitation he has a genuine interest in my success. He's become a trusted advisor and friend. To me, that that speaks volumes. So what are you waiting for? Give it a go - you will not regret it.
