I usually go to Michaels for my yarn because I am a poor college student. However, every so often Ill make something a little more special so I decide to pop in here to pick up a fancier yarn. Today, I was looking for yarn for a crochet bandana that I will be entering into the local fair. I asked for some help finding what I needed and was guided through the ever so full but so cozy shop until I found what I needed. I didnt get the owners name, but she was so helpful, even taking the time to show me a bunch of button options for another project. Ive lived in Orono my whole life and have seen businesses occupy this old bank but I think Soper Creek Yarns was made to be here.

A shop I'd purchased a specialty yarn at had closed and I needed another skein of that yarn to complete my project. No local shops carried the yarn so I naturally turned to the internet. As you may know lower internet prices and availability don't always go hand in hand, but Soper Creek Yarn was placed into my hand and I won't let go. I had placed my order on 4/3, received notice my order had been processed in less than 24 hours, and received my order before lunch on 4/12. (That's with going through Customs.) Thank you Soper Creek Yarn! I will definitely think of and use you again.

Lovely store! Lovely yarn and lovely people working here. I had two patterns and the ladies were so knowledgeable and there was stock!
