        The Metis Nation of Ontario in Oshawa are great. They help so many people. Also a community garden they use to help get nutritional food to those in need. With the little funding they get, it's surprising how much they are able to help. Keep up the good work!

        Two young ladies greeted me at the front door ,but did not seem to be able to tell me about their resoures and what they had to offer.....they deferred me to some other more senior staff,however neither one was there and I was told to come back another time. I was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and my Metis heritage goes back to Louis Riel via my father's side and Louis Cyr on his mother's side. Iconic Metis personal,that were sourced out by my older sister Yolanda Beauchamp who did the research and DNA tests on our family . I will go back and revisit again and see what we can share with each other at some point,,hopefully the senior staff will be there. Edmond Andre Beauchamp.
