My son attended several speech therapy sessions at their main location. He always looked forward to it. Our therapist was so kind and helpful. Its bittersweet that we no longer qualify for the program because his speech has improved so much, but well miss going to the sessions. Thank you Grandview

One of the worst places to get therapy. They make you wait months even years to get service then all they do is criticize the parents and conduct false evaluations. They do not provide therapy but rather workshops to assist parents to do the work themselves. It is good to learn but how are parents to learn therapy techniques in 45 mins and then they close the door and don't reach out for another 6 months. Very poor and very misguided. This explains why they were searching for a new CEO at the end of 2022.

I personally have had a great experience with Grandview Kids thus far. My daughter was diagnosed by Dr. Chris Montgomery who is affiliated with Grandview kids. He did a great job and was thorough. I received the diagnosis letter and signed up for OAP immediately using that letter. Within 2 business days, OAP reached out with the next steps for choosing 1 of 6 programs. You choose the program, and the one I chose was offered at Grandview. I emailed grand view to let them know I was choosing a program through OAP, and sent the screenshot of the confirmation page as OAP instructs. Within a couple days I had an in-take appointment to go over the programs Grandview offers, choose the right one, and get started! The Intake was 4 weeks away, not that bad! I took the call, and it was right on time! I realized after the call I chose the wrong program because i had read the programs 4 weeks prior when i reached out to them and my 20 month old advanced a lot in 4 weeks to a point i wanted to change the program. I immediatey emailed them back asking them to call me/arrange another appointment as I wanted to change my decision. Melissa was more than accomodating and helped me. She made sure there were no open questions in a way to 'checkmate' the conversation. She is patient as you write everything down... I am confident I chose the right place so far. If you are under OAP, you get one program per year from April to April. If you start a program before April 1st under OAP, you will be eligible for one more this year!!!! Get on it! ADVOCATE and do your research as some things are in your hands..... :) I feel those who leave bad reviews on the 'process' are not realizing what tasks are in their hands vs the governments....don't be afraid to ask questions...

Dr. Michelle Jaeggi is the most insensitive, unprofessional and ignorant doctor I have ever met. If you have been referred to her do yourself a favour and find another doctor. She has a bad habit of commenting/wishing the worst Scenarios on children that might have a medical condition without a diagnosis. Period. She also doesnt consult with her patients about possible concerns that could happen in the future properly. There is professional ways to dealing with parents and innocent children with possible medical concerns. Im not an in denial parent by any means but please have tests/diagnosis for sure before commenting in a rude way and not being comforting at all about it! Being a doctor is one thing but dealing with patients properly and professionally is another thing. Im sincerely sorry for this type of review Grandview and I have had great experiences otherwise there but parents dont need this type of negativity when they are simply just going through tests, riding the wave and trying to help their child the best they can its just truly not necessary! Thank you! Update: my sons tests all came back negative from sick kids. My son 100% does not have muscle dystrophy that she was so sure he had!! He is a completely healthy 3 year old!
