Ultimate Sewing Centre

I have purchased 7 sewing machines from Ultimate Sewing in the past 30 years, I first met Shirley at the creative needlework show in Toronto; I have enjoyed 2 mid level machines, one Memory Craft 6600, two sergers, one quilting machine, one industrial machine (Janome HD9) and last year a Janome Memory craft 6700, so I could take the 6600 to work. I sew BOTH at home and at work. I quilt, sew home dec., design and sew knits, and do alterations. Over the pandemic I sewed over 3000 masks (mostly on the 6600 and HD9). I have just had my 14 year old Janome Memory Craft 6600 serviced, not because anything was wrong, rather I felt after 14 years it deserved a little TLC. It came back to me purring like a kitten and I have just completed alterations for a client on some complicated knit garments - if you want a great machine and a wonderful Janome dealer - get yourself to Ultimate Sewing in Oshawa ON - you will never be disappointed!

Very friendly people work there, and excellent selection of cotton fabrics, plus sewing machines, notions, and classes held there, too!

I just finished a three day English Paper Piecing Course at Ultimate. The class was excellent. I learned a lot from Sharon the teacher. Sharon answered all my questions and made the experience fun. I will definitely go back again for more classes. What a wonderful store. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. If you go you will be inspired.

Excellent place for your sewing supplies. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Just did a serger course with Shirley and it was wonderful. Shirley is a great instructor with incredible experience. A fantastic learning experience. Many thanks.
