Just picked up a bike here, their employee Rory was friendly, helped me out and answered all my questions. They let me take the one I wanted for a test ride around the block and I was sold. All in a all, it was a great experience.

The customer experience I had dealing with this store couldn't have been much worse. I ordered a bike online from the Norco website, and unfortunately decided to have it delivered here to this store as it was nearby. Also, according to the Norco website, they had a size smaller in the same model/colour so I thought that if for some reason I want to go with the smaller size it shouldn't be a problem. Boy was I wrong. I stopped in the try the bike in the size smaller, but it was apparently at their 2nd store in Carleton Place. Convenient. The sales guy I talked to was very unhelpful and I couldn't get any useful information out of him. I never received a phone call when bike I ordered was ready for pick-up. I eventually call and get an "oh you didn't get a phone call yet?" response. What a joke. I head into the store to try the bike out. It fits OK but I'm thinking I'd like to try the size smaller. I ask if I prefer the size smaller am I able to exchange it. Like I said they have it in stock at their other store. The response I get is "No you can't exchange it because you bought it through Norco." Really? The Norco website itself says the store's return policy applies for bikes ordered directly through them. The impression I got was they couldn't care less to help me out. They told me they weren't making money on this bike and that the size/colour would be hard for them sell if they did accept an exchange. Obviously if I had known that purchasing this bike online would be treated as a final sale I would have waited to actually try the bike in person. Definitely not the treatment I was expecting. Normally stores want their customers to leave satisfied. No effort was even made to make the bike I ordered fit better. I'm an avid cyclist and I've purchased bikes from other stores (e.g. Bushtukah) and this is by far the worst experience I've had. This store could have at least made some effort to help me out but they just made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. Needless to say, I won't ever be setting foot in this bike shop again. I'll stick with the more reputable bike shops in Ottawa that actually care about their customers.

I ordered a bike to be delivered to Western Canada. The communication was great and my bike arrived in perfect condition.

Great experience. I'm looking for a new bike and found a wide selection and was able to get a lot of information from staff. I didn't make a purchase and there was no pressure to make one. I would definitely recommend a pass-by if you're in the process of choosing your next bike.
