Becareful with Robert and James Harbic. They will lie, mislead you and coerce you out of your defense if they want. They will also gang up on you with a chance , they will gang up on you with other professionals in the legal system. Your privacy with this lawyer will also be violated. Plus if your on legal aid they will keep telling you legal aid only pays six hours. In the scariest times of your life don't depend on Harbic Law they will further terrorize you. Simply put Harbic Law is a criminal organization.

If you are in trouble and need a criminal lawyer I urge you to call James Harbic. He is professional, kind and uses his many decades of experience to resolve your issue in the best way possible. He will fight for you (in a calm and respectful manner) and will get you a fair deal. Before I chose James, I called other lawyers who had a secretary take my information and never got back to me, or who did not tell me what they could do for me, or what my case entailed, gave me a laundry list of things I had to do for them, then told me the skys the limit when I asked for an estimated cost, before slamming the phone down. On my first attempt James picked up the phone, listened to my issue, then asked when I could come in for a free consultation. He was kind, gave me a concise overview of what would and could happen if we proceeded, and how it was likely to play out in court. He walked us through every step of the way with intelligence and the vast knowledge built over many decades practicing law in Ottawa. He answered all my questions. More importantly, perhaps, he quoted a basic fee if all went well in court and a capped worst case scenario fee if things went badly. Right from the start I knew exactly what I was getting into. I came away from my first free half-hour consult knowing we would be in good hands. Knowing what to expect, how it would be handled, and how much it would cost. In the end, Mr. Harbic got the best result at his low-price fee and we walked away happy. We did have some bumps along the way but Mr. Harbic stuck to his agreed-upon rate (even when I said I would understand if he had to charge more.) The newspaper articles in his office that refer to him as Ottawas Atticus Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird) really hit home when we had our final court date. James Harbic is honest, the personification of integrity, and really damn good at his job. If you are looking for a criminal lawyer it is probably the worst time of your life. Dont settle for a pushy slick lawyer who will charge you by the hour while they rattle off the latest hockey scores (Yes, Ive been there before too!)
