Dentistry At Lansdowne Dr. Don Friedlander

I've never actually been a patient but the little correspondence I had with the staff is enough to say they don't seem to open to taking new clients. They don't respond to emails very well, if at all, they gave me a hard time regarding my health insurance coverage. I guess for the best.

I was put under a lot of pressure to pursue a very expensive cosmetic procedure, and I felt that I didnt really have a choice. I chose not to proceed, and switched dentists to get another opinion, and it appears to be unnecessary. I wasnt happy with how communication around this procedure was handled by this dentist.

Honestly wish I could agree with the majority of the reviews posted. My experience was that they want you to believe, citing various reasons, that you require more dental cleaning than you actually do. First time I have ever been told that my teeth would need to be cleaned one quadrant at a time over multiple visits! Even the insurance company rejected the request to increase the number of allowed dental cleaning visits annually to this office. However, the last straw was when I had to wonder about the competence of the dentist, given his experience, to do major dental work. An error was made which he even admitted was most likely his doing and unfortunately, it resulted in a delay in months and multiple visits. One would hope that type of error is not often made with such a lengthy and expensive procedure! I would definitely not recommend this dental office given my personal experience.
