Homewood Suites by Hilton Ottawa Downtown

We had an extended stay here and the staff were amazing, meeting it a real home-from-home experience. We were in the Homewood Suites and the facilities were very good for a long stay, both in the room and in the hotel. The view from our room across the river to Quebec looked out onto an ever changing scene, worth the upgrade. The downtown location was perfect; as Brits we're used to walking and the location let us explore without needing a car. The bus and metro was easy to use and stops right by the hotel for those days we had tired legs.

Extremely spacious suite, more like a residential apartment, not a hotel, The bedroom was very spacious as well; mattress was very comfortable, the room quiet. Theres a restaurant in the hotel lobby called Tulip, we ordered food twice, both times delicious and satisfying and I was very impressed by it. The hotel complementary breakfast was not that great, however. Everything was just ok or mediocre. Location of this hotel is very good.
