Loved LOVED loved the flowers I picked from Maison A. this mother's day! Thalia customized the color palette that I requested for the arrangements and was so helpful and sweet ...as well as surpassing all my expectations!! Will definitely be coming back!

I was super excited to use this company for my wedding, but they completely ghosted me. I emailed them for an initial inquiry and someone kindly talked me through the whole process. They told me to email them details of what Id like, so I did. I was really excited and looking forward to working with them because everything seemed great. Over a week went by and I heard nothing back, so I sent another email. Nothing. Called several times. Nothing. Left voicemails. Nothing. DMd on Instagram, and still nothing. My partner and I even tried going in to their studio to talk to someone but there was no one there, even though we went during the hours listed on their website and on Google. I seriously thought maybe the company had gone out of business. I still see them posting on Instagram all the time and they look to be active and thriving. I just dont understand why they would turn us away. And based on these reviews, it looks like we arent the only ones. Would have appreciated a proper response if they wanted to reject the order request. Instead, we had to wait around and risked running out of time to find a different florist. Update: owner emailed me explaining why they didnt respond. I want to encourage people to support local businesses but I still cant shake the lack of communication and organization. Some folks seemed to have had very positive experiences and everything Maison Anthea does looks really stunning, but customer service is a big part of a business. I hope you guys can learn to improve in this area!

I booked Maison Anthea to do flowers for our wedding this October. I haven't heard from them since our planning meeting in January. After leaving voicemails, sending emails and even trying to get in touch on Instagram with no response, I booked a different florist last month. I'm glad I was able to find one so close to the wedding! No idea what happened here, I was basically ghosted by this business.

This took a lot of thought before I decided to give this company a review. I made sure to take some time rather than write something with anger. My wedding was on June 25, 2022 at 11:00 am in Ottawa, ON at the Notre Dame Basillica Cathedral. I am from Toronto, ON. where I was born and raised. When our wedding date was set, I went on a hunt to find the best florist in town and just like everyone else, I read reviews before choosing the company I wanted to go with. Unfortunately, the reviews did not help me in this case. When I emailed this company, in the beginning they were responsive and set up a meeting to find out what my vision was. After that meeting, they sent me a mock example of how my bouquet would look. I was happy with it, however throughout the months leading up to my wedding my vision changed and they were able to accommodate and make the changes to my order. The issues I have with this company is that they slowly became unresponsive and I had to ask my fianc to check their location to see if we could get an answer from them that way. Their space was unoccupied which made me even more worried now that I had given my deposit. It took them more than a month and a half to respond to my emails which is highly frustrating and gave me so much anxiety leading up to our wedding. I even sent them an email asking them to confirm the time that they will be dropping off the flowers which should not be my job. They should be sharing this info without me having to ask. But because the date was getting closer I felt the need to ask. We agreed that the flowers were to be dropped off to us between 9:00 am and 10:00 am due to our ceremony being at 11:00 am. HOWEVER, this was not the case! She showed up at 10:50 am!!!!! From 9:30 am - 10:50 am she had my husband and I stressing out over flowers when we should have been enjoying our day. My husband called her and emailed her multiple times to see where she was and she was adamant that the drop off time was between 10:00 am - 11:00 am even though we had an email thread specifying our ceremony was at 11:00 am and to drop it off between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. When she arrived at 10:50 am I was fuming with anger but I couldnt waste any more time arguing with her because we were already late. She was remorseful and apologetic and gave me a 50% refund but honestly the money we received back does not fix what my husband and I went through on our wedding day. We dont even have getting ready pictures with the flowers and now that I look back on these pictures and it reminds me of all the negative emotions we went through that morning. Please save your money and peace of mind. There are so many other florists I would consider in Ottawa. Maison Anthea is not professional as the reviews make it to be.
