I have worked with KFR for many years, and with Kim specifically since 2002. I find them to be very detail focused, and conscious of historical provenance and authenticity. In my experience Kim is straight forward, happy to discuss different levels of interventions, provides knowledgeable recommendations and is open to working with the clients to achieve the best approach for their item.
