Austrian D & C - Design and Construction

We hired Austrian D & C to renovate our kitchen. Of all the companies I requested quotes from, they were the only ones that made an effort to thoroughly walk through the space (twice) and provided a floor plan with a detailed pricing list in less than two weeks. The job involved removing two walls (one load bearing), pushing back another wall and interior door, and resizing windows - in addition to the custom cabinets, island, and hood fan. We are very happy with the work and professionalism of of the crew. We have two small children and the crew took care to keep dust at a minimum and clean up each day. Highly recommended.

I found Austrian D & C - Design and Construction very easy to work with. I had my bathroom extended and remodelled and it is absolutely lovely. They also constructed a walk-in closet; and created a broom closet. They arrived on time each day and everyone was polite and professional. They take pride in their work. We had an addition done by this so called professional renovation company. They cut corners wherever they could. 1) The roof only lasted 10 years because to save money proper venting was not done. 2) All windows had to be replaced after 8 years. He installed the cheapest ones he could get. I said those dont like the ones we requested and said that is what was available at the time. Some of the subcontractors he hired were very unprofessional. Every time I asked to see an invoice of the products purchased, they was some excuse. The owner kept trying to change what we wanted. Certain items which we had an agreement for were changed without our knowledge or not supplied. We had to go and buy them. Stay away from this company. Wish I could not even give them one star.
