Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ottawa Airport

In for a night and looked for places where we could stay and charge our EV overnight. The information is not so clear in the website, but took a chance and booked it. The room was good for the three of us. Two double beds comfortable. The bathroom was good and neat. The room we had there was no view as the there was a wall opposite the window which sucked. The check in was quick. The included breakfast is decent but was chaos during the rush hour and the staff really struggled to keep everything filled. No dairy free milk available for beverages, cereal or oatmeal. Asked the attendant and said they dont provide (!). There are two EV chargers and thankfully one was available when we arrived late at night. The charging is not just plug and charge. You have two tap your room card, press two buttons on the charger and it still does not tell you if you did the sequence correctly. You wait and you find out till your car complains that charging has not started. You do again and wait. Why so complicated? Any way once stated it worked and charge was completed.

The room is very good. Room service is not daily unless you call and ask. It is far from downtown and everything else, but close to the airport. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 1/5 More

Excellent Fairfield, very new and fresh, 4 elevators means less waiting... Very well maintained hotel. Had one of the larger suites, might be the largest I have ever had at a Fairfield. 2 TV's with a dedicated seating area in front of one. Comfortable furniture. 2 showers in my room (one dedicated shower and one tub/shower). Great breakfast options, with more choice. Fresh made food, not pre-packaged. Near the airport but 20 minutes to most things in Ottawa. Would definately stay again.
