i wish they would learn how to do a proper sandwich. mine had a tomato end and virtually no toppings. one inch of bare bread on the ends...yikes

Was so excited to have a local pasta and deli shop in the neighbourhood, and I love supporting small businesses. However, lately the products have not been fresh. On a recent visit, I was looking to purchase some deli meat and noticed a nice piece of ham in the display. However, when I brought it home I realized they did a bait and switch and sold me some old ham they had stashed away in the back. I could tell because instead of having long slices of ham that would correspond to the display ham, they were little rounds from the end portion. I even mentioned how much my grandchild likes the ham and regularly buy from them. It's unconscionable to me to serve substandard meat, especially knowing a child will be eating it and that there was fresh product to sell. Sure enough, the ham tasted sour and was spoiled. It even looked a little brown/grey. Ended up throwing it away. So disappointed by the waste, especially since food is so expensive. It's the second time this happened. Ital Pasta you can do better. I will not shop here anymore.

Im honestly not sure why this place has such good reviews. Their dry goods are nice, and some of their fresh pasta is ok, but most of it was disappointing and pretty poor quality. The sauces were runny and bland, one had sandwich meat in it. The ravioli didnt cook well and was hard and pasty in the middle. I will not shop here anymore.

One lunch, I came here to get a sandwich. It was good & the meat was high quality. The toppings (mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, eggplant in oil) were quite average, and below what I would expect from an Italian deli. The sandwich is a reasonable price for its size, but the sandwich is too big. If I was offered a half size for a lower price, that would be ideal. If I was to go back, I would like to see more condiment variety.

Come here for lunch during work, All I can say is best sandwich in the city. Most fresh and high quality ingredients. This place is amazing.
