Listen up ladies! If you need a mechanic who won't try to scam you because you're a girl and/or because your partner isn't standing right next to you, go see Eli at Scorpion. He's been my mechanic since 2019, and I trust him completely. Not only will he NOT tell you things are wrong when they aren't, if he or his employees make a mistake, they'll tell you about it and return the parts they thought they needed, which is exactly what they did for me! I go to Scorpion for everything from my oil changes to tires to general fixes. This is a family owned business, not a chain, and they won't try to upsell you on things you don't need. I would also like to address one of the reviews listed below from "Jason Barber", which (surprise) isn't his real name, and which is largely inaccurate. I was the purchaser of the vehicle mentioned in that review. I asked "Jason" to have the vehicle safetied at Scorpion, because I trust Eli 100% to tell me exactly what's up. Eli found 1) deep scratches along the back bumper, 2) that the tires were almost finished, 3) that there were small dents all over the vehicle, 4) that the entire undercarriage cover was missing (!), because the seller had gotten tired of taking it off to do oil changes (meaning the engine cover wasn't "weak", he just took it off), and 5) because the cover was missing, the flex pipe had rusted and needed to be replaced. That seller paid NOTHING. I paid for the safety, I'll be paying for the repairs (which will be far less than $3,500), and that seller got his FULL asking price for the vehicle. Also, I'd like to point out that being told by your mechanic when you're purchasing a vehicle that your mechanic is "on your side and not the seller's side" is EXACTLY what you want to hear, because that's what Eli is - on your side. Beware of reviews that disparage small businesses who otherwise have entirely positive reviews.Thank you for coming to my Google Review TedTalk.
