As a first-time home buyer who was also new to Canada, Kevin had to teach me a lot. I'm taking off one star because he didn't explain the tax consequences of adding a parent as a co-signer which include loss of a tax credit and potential capital gains for co-signer. Perhaps I had no choice given limited Canadian credit history, but I would like to have understood that better.
