Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution

I had an excellent experience as I complete TPN 1 & 3 with CICR these last couple of months. The level of professionalism and knowledge is and was extremely helpful in my development toward becoming a TPN / Conflict Management Practitioner. I look forward to completing TPN 2 & 4 this fall to move forward with certification.

My experience with the CICR institute has been phenomenal. The trainers are all brilliant in what they do and are able to deliver an enriching experience in the way they deliver their training. I would recommend this institute to anyone interested in the area of conflict resolution and mediation. Thank you for this, I will never forget it!

Awesome training. Excellent approach to marry the theoretical with the practical. I feel like I've just scratched the surface and look forward to continuing my journey with CICR.

Unfortunately CICR's course offerings are not worth the money - grads are left with no actual skills in conflict management and resolution, the courses are heavily based on peer learning but as everyone taking the course is at the same level of having very little knowledge or skills, nobody develops significantly. For an $8000 program, this is very disappointing. CICR seems to have heavily lobbied federal departments to use them as their training provider for workplace mediators, but given the actual training experience, this relationship should be reexamined.
