I Googled our Ottawa property management company and was surprised to see a couple of unfavourable, older reviews. Greentree has managed our condo for over four years while weve been living overseas and theyve been nothing but great. Prompt and friendly communication and fast follow up with any issues arising. A pleasure to deal with and great service.

Unprofessional company! Nightmare to deal with. Unorganized, condescending, slow to respond and do not seem to know the law. You never get the same answer twice. If you make the mistake of signing anything with these people, remember that the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Act takes precedence over any lease or agreement you may have made. In light of Green Tree's response, I feel I need to clarify some more. 8 months ago, when I originally wrote my review, both their rental agreement and proposed lease contained clauses which were in contravention with the then current Ontario Landlord and Tenant act. So, either Green Tree knew this and included them anyway, or didn't. Either way, not a company to trust your property too, or rent from. If you do deal with them, keep the name of a lawyer who is familiar with rental law, handy.

I tried to contact them (email and phone) to view some of the rental properties they have listed. They will not get back to you unless your email contains a title they deem worthy of their attention.
