Jinsei Ramen Restaurant

Tasty food, friendly staff, and no wait. I dined in, and had a good experience. The signature tonkotsu ramen had a delicious broth, and the other ingredients had enough flavor that they didn't need additional seasoning. Generous portion size. The pork gyoza was a good pairing for it. The chicken karaage was super crispy and savory. I just wish the pieces were a little bigger. This restaurant is a little off Bank Street, and much more spacious than you'd expect for downtown. Very fast and friendly service, with no waiting in line. Overall, definitely a good place to check out. I'll be returning in the future.

4.9/5 is to generous rating just the Ramen alone. Atmosphere is great. Service is good. The food took longer than usual. As for the Ramen honest opinion. My party of 3 had 3 different bowl of Ramens. All broths were room temperature. Noodles were slightly under as well. Flavour of broths I have to say were really mild for the type of Ramen it's suppose to be. I wanted to try this place as I love Ramen and tried multiple places in numerous cities around the world. I will come back probably in a couple of months to give them another chance. Thank you

Rich aroma flavor broth was just perfect (they cook all their broth everyday and you can taste the freshness of broth at the first drinking), and the included toppings were so generous with variety (egg, muchroom, meat, green onion, bok choy, bamboo shoot etc). Even if I didn't order extra topping, I could enjoy ramen completely. I will go back and try other ramens. I highly recommend this ramen restaurant!!!!

Jinsei ramen is the best Japanese ramen restaurant in Ottawa. great foods! the highest taste!
