The Box of Life community composting center is a wonderful place dedicated to promoting sustainable living practices. Located among coffee shops and pizza spots round almost every corner in Little Italy, you will be greeted and with plenty of greenery and fresh air, which creates a relaxing and serene atmosphere. The composting process was explained in great detail, and visitors were encouraged to actively participate in the process. The center provided a variety of composting methods, including both indoor and outdoor options, and visitors were given hands-on training on how to set up and maintain a compost pile. Akil and his team at the center were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and were always willing to answer any questions and provide guidance to visitors. They were also very passionate about their work, and it was evident in the way they talked about the benefits of composting. Overall, I would highly recommend this composting community center to anyone interested in learning more about green practices. It was a great experience, and I left feeling inspired and motivated to make changes in my own life to reduce waste and help protect the environment.
